Ballast Regulator

These are some photos of the new Viessman/Kibri Plasser & Theurer ballast regulator.  This is an interesting model that actually operates.  The photo shows it at West Green river.   The M of W truck is a kitbashed model.  The speeder is from a Walthers structure.

Rocky's Bar

Rockys bar and Disco has live music and sound effects.  The lower picture shows the small LED lighting I added.  They are amazing how small they are.

Atlas signal boards

  

Hi everyone, I've been installing Atlas Signal boards throughout the layout. So far about 50 have been put in.  The colors aren't true in the photos but look pretty good in person. These are Minitronics LED's with resistors combined with the Atlas boards.

I attended the 2011 NMRA convention this week. It was a great time meeting new modelers and reconnecting with old friends.

Mountain Running

I added these pine trees to the Alta-Big Bend areas of the layout. They were purchased at Dollar Tree store two for a dollar, not bad. I think they look pretty good.
